  35. I don't have a .kermrc.  Can you give me a hint what would cause DSR and
  36. CTS signals to be missing?

  38. I'll look for the bidirectional discussion.  I have used this line
  39. bidirectionally, so that may be a good lead.

  41. What confuses me is that it *was* working (although VERY slowly) at one time,
  42. and then *something* changed and now it doesn't.  I don't know what the
  43. *something* is, but the fact that it used to work would seem to indicate
  44. that it's not a version problem, or anything that hasn't changed in the
  45. meantime.  I don't *think* it's the modem, because I've switched modems
  46. since then and it didn't change anything.
